Women's Health Series with Dr. Rose PaisleyJoin us in a discussion for women, centered on building a strong foundation for health during a time when women put their families first. Fatigue, irritability, low libido, blood sugar imbalances and vitamin deficiency can all result from depletion. Specifically, hormones shifts and nutrient deficiency, are a common result of months and sometimes years of being on the go and not begin able to make time to care for yourself. The good news is that many of these deficiencies and imbalances can be restored with a little TLC. In this session, Dr. Rose Paisley will discuss common nutrient deficiencies, how to address them, and where they can be found in food. She will also share some favorite recipes, supplements, elixirs and practices that will revitalize and help restore balance. Dr. Rose Paisley, Naturopathic Physician, takes great pride in her profession – one that inspires health through education, positive change, personal growth, and sophisticated medicine rooted in nature cure. Dr. Rose began her doctorate at Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington and graduated from National College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2002. She had an established Family Medicine practice, with an emphasis on gynecology, pediatrics, physical medicine, gastroenterology, and detoxification in Portland, Oregon for the last 8 years. Currently, Dr. Rose is providing care exclusively via phone, email, and Skype. The purpose of this type of practice is to provide health consultation to patients who may not have access to a ND in their area and who need guidance with their current medical care. After several years of providing outpatient care, Dr. Rose found that the majority of her time was spent interviewing and educating her patients, getting to know them and building relationships with them and their families. Since much of this has been accomplished by email and over the phone already, it makes sense to offer long distance care and consult directly with patients in the comfort of their own homes Please check out her website at http://www.resetnaturally.com. $15 per person 3 Part Women's Health Series:

Hypnobabies, however, is very different in that we teach real medical hypnosis techniques, creating an automatically peaceful, relaxing and more comfortable pregnancy, a calm confident Hypno-Dad, and an easier, fearless and often pain-free birthing for our Hypno-Mom. Hypnobabies teaches Gerald Kein's famous Painless Childbirth techniques to Hypnobabies mothers so that they can enter hypnosis, deepen it themselves and remain mobile during labor, completely comfortable at all times. Most of our Hypno-babies have no drugs in their systems when they are born, and are able to nurse, breathe well and interact with their happy parents immediately. There are people that have life-threatening allergies to anesthetics who successfully undergo medical and dental surgery with hypnosis as their only anesthesia! Your mind is much more powerful than you may realize, and right now you're using only 10% of it. You'll be amazed at what you can do! In Hypnobabies, our objectives are to help our pregnant couples bond with their baby in utero, teach you how to stay healthy and low-risk and be an excellent consumer, trust in your body, mind and baby, as well as become self-reliant and confident about birthing your own way; unmedicated, safely and in comfort. We overcome negative belief systems and programming, get you in touch with your own beautiful pregnant body, guide you through your own excellent birth experience and give you skills that you will use for the rest of your life. Birth Partners are brought into the preparation process and have their own hypnotic relaxation cues, as well as a special role to play as they await the birth of the precious newborn with our Hypno-mom. Since we use real medical hypnosis techniques, addressing the mind, body, and spirit of both Mother and Baby, our success rate is wonderful and very gratifying! This class is taught by Carrie Ballek, HCHI, HCHD. Carrie is the Hypno-Mom of two children whose births have inspired her to help other women during their childbearing years. Carrie's own Hypno-baby born in 2009 was a VBAC (Vaginal Birth after Cesarean). She is a certified Hypnobabies® Childbirth Hypnosis Instructor and a Hypnobabies® certified Hypno-Doula. She is a birth doula trained through DONA. Carrie teaches Hypnobabies® Childbirth Hypnosis classes in Allentown, Reading & Philadelphia, PA.
